Welcome to The Resolute

I offer a bespoke approach to mental and physical wellness through a combination of psychological therapy, mindfulness, and coaching.

As a professor, clinical psychologist, and health and fitness “enthusiast” (i.e., nut) my aim is to humbly guide, encourage and support you to flourish in both mind and body - a synergy that is undeniably important to living your best life.

Utilising an eclectic ‘toolbox’ of positive psychological practices we will build mental and physical fortitude and resilience through the pursuit of meaning, growth and purpose-based psychology and philosophy.

Although specific cognitive-behavioural therapies (e.g., CBT) are undoubtably important and helpful tools to target specific disorders, fears and anxieties, my practice hopes to not only provide that support, but find deeper meaning in those problems and a deeper understanding of our nature to more comprehensively guide ourselves to a better life, overall.

To do so takes commitment to that long-term goal - a steadfast, purposeful and unwavering resolution to be the best version of ourselves in every moment - as the Stoics would say, to be our most Eudemonic self.

This is the meaning of being Resolute.
